The Importance of Water Intake

Our body uses water everywhere, in all its cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate its temperature and maintain the basic body functions. We all are losing water through breathing, sweating, and digestion, therefore it's very important to re-hydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water. Most guidelines recommend a water intake for women of 2.7 liters per day, for men even 3.7 liters a day. This does not mean that we all have to really drink THAT much water, many fruits a vegetables consists of 85 to even 95% of water.
